We would like to introduce a case where we developed a part of the band saw controller control software, specifically the program that controls the operation of the band saw. Depending on the shape of the material, the calculation formulas for the drop position, drop speed, and rotation speed differ. (The turning angle is also taken into account.) The calculations require knowledge of trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan) and radians.
